Services

I’m not your traditional consultant because in many ways, I’m not a traditional leader. If you’re looking for a corporate, polished, strictly professional feeling experience- I’m not for you. I am most passionate about social justice, non-profits, healthcare, education and related sectors- but I’m open to hearing ideas!

What I can offer is an authentic, equity-focused, relaxed, person-centered, emotion driven, and (I like to think), funny, adventure. I love tricky conversations, heavy topics, finding unexplored perspectives, and creating a room where even the quietest voices can have big impact. As a full-time, national executive director, parent, and partner, I only take on a few projects- but would love to hear about what you need!

What I can offer:

Looking for a facilitator for a conference, strategic planning, internal/external meetings, community event, retreat etc.? I love groups of all sizes, and can parachute in to a fully developed agenda, or I can support with development and activities. My style isn’t conventional, but I’ll leave you will useable results and an energized team/community.

Change can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be impossible. And it doesn’t have to result in unhappy team members and frustrated management. I would be honoured to support strategies and conversations within your organization to ensure a new direction, new program, new structure etc. is an exciting endeavor everyone can get behind.

Honestly, leadership is hard. And lonely. Alongside being a great privilege, of course. If you’re looking for a fellow leader to work through ideas, team dynamics, organizational challenges – particularly with an emotional-focused, equity-driven approach- I’m here for you! I can also help organizations develop policies which deeply consider the needs and rights of employees, while addressing organizational concerns.

Education is my first love. Over the last 18 years, I’ve facilitated hundreds of workshops- from queer/trans inclusion, sex education, sexual violence prevention, mental health and wellness, and much more. I’ve been a frequent lecturer at universities and colleges, often speaking on intersections of reproductive justice and queerness.

Generally today, I focus on queer/trans work, disability justice (alongside my consulting partner), reproductive justice (through my day job), and related areas. If you have a need, feel free to reach out. If it’s not in my wheelhouse, I can often point you to someone who can help you out!
